I thought I made good steak in the past. I just gave this method a try and it was amazing. Everything came out perfect, the steak had a nice color and a wonderful crust. I recommend everyone try this.

This guy has a cookbook? He looks like the most clueless person in the kitchen I've ever seen.

Note: If you're going to try out this steak, please check out the Chef's Note in the Perfect Steak in a Skillet recipe about heating your pan. Your pan shouldn't be heated for longer than 10 minutes...

This is utterly perfect! It never fails. Haven't cooked steaks in a long time because mine were always gray too, and this video has changed everything chez nous. The only way I do them anymore, unless doing for a crowd and then use Palm Cookbook's method. However, having said that, these are always better.

LMAO - not at not being able to cook a Steak - but at the obligatory use of Thyme and butter!

Yum! Okay so it's almost lunch here, but that steak looked so delicious -- I have to try this approach at home and see if I can make a great steak, too.

I don't even eat meat. I just like watching this adorable little underdog triumph over adversity. I like the happy ending when Grandma got what was coming to her.
