This past Friday, a co-worker was kind enough to relinquish her ticket to Food Network's Wine & Food Festival Burger Bash. Burger Bash was held at the Tobacco Warehouse under the Manhattan Bridge. Hosted by Food Network's own Rachael Ray, over a dozen chefs and restaurants competed for the coveted bragging rights as top burger from the event. People attending Burger Bash sampled each of the burgers throughout the night and text voted for their favorite burger.

Wall Street Burger Shoppe was immediately next to Minetta Tavern and had smoke billowing everywhere. Their huge burgers were served on a soft kaiser roll and were thankfully sliced into quarters for the masses. I really enjoyed the mushrooms and texture of the meat. The bottom of the kaiser roll couldn't soak up all the burger's juice which lead to a soggy mess though.

Bobby's burger was topped with bleu cheese, buffalo sauce and crispy potato chips. The potato bun was buttery and made this easily one of the best burgers of the night.
