Did you know that the first lady is not only a fashion icon, but also a cheeseburger fan? According to the Chicago Sun-Times,Mrs. Obama does have a weakness...
The First Lady treated her new staff to Five Guys Burgers and Fries in DuPont Circle.
With my intimate knowledge of the burger joint, I'm betting she ate this one:
For the curious, we do know that she finished it all off with fries and a Coke.
I'm a huge fan of Five Guys and even went opening weekend in NYC, which you can read about on my blog. Occasionally, I'll indulge in a cheeseburger, cheesefries, and a creamy shake.
I'm also a fan of In-N-Out, J. G. Melon, Goodburger, and Shake Shack.
Where do you like to get your burgers?

if mrs obama is a true chicagoan, she should have flown in burgers from Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago. They have amazing (as they call em) 'cheezborgers' and are a Chicago landmark. Grace, next time you visit the windy city, you should definitely try them out and see how they compare with the ones in NYC

Billy Goat Tavern is definitely a must when in Chicago. Made famous by that certain SNL skit from the late 70's, don't try to order Pepsi.

oopsie doopsie - I mean't requir'd I've been to the one in Philly where they have sacs of potatoes everywhere. the burger is juicy and the fries are fresh.. but for the best in New York Burger Experience you gotta do shake shack, jgmellon and peter luger lunch.

I love Five Guys. If you've never been, be sure not to order the large fry. The small feeds 2 itself!
